My initial training and passion is Pharmacology. After completing my PhD. in Cardiovascular Pharmacology (University College Dublin), I immediately joined the industry and gained valuable experience in pre-clinical and clinical research (Clearstream Technologies and ICON clinical). I subsequently moved into the pharmaceutical industry (Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer) where I spent over 12 years working on all aspects of Medical Affairs and Medical Quality/Compliance. I have worked on products across a range of therapeutic areas and life-cycle stages and have extensive experience of project management, training, quality systems, inspection readiness and promotional copy approval.
