After completing my primary degree in Biochemistry (University College Dublin) and my PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology (University of Notre Dame, IN, USA), I joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2007 as Medical Science Liaison (UCB). In 2010, I joined Pfizer and held a number of senior positions including Medical Director of Pfizer Essential Health and Medical Director of Primary care. In 2019 I moved to Astellas as Country Medical Director. Over these 13 years in the industry, I have gained vast experience in medical affairs, critical product and supply management, strategy, people management and team development. I have worked on products across a diverse range of therapeutic areas and lifecycle stages
